The Celestial Church of Christ has commenced its 26th Annual Youth Conference, a significant event that draws young believers from across the world. The National Coordinator, Evangelist Ayo Akinkunmi, opened the conference with a message of unity and purpose, extending greetings to the youth organization under the leadership of Senior Evangelist S. Odoyemi. He also expressed gratitude to the Board of Secretaries, National Executive Council, and all those who played a role in organizing the event.
Evangelist Akinkunmi welcomed the participants, expressing his delight at the vibrant turnout and emphasizing the theme of the conference, “Manifesting God’s Glory,” inspired by Isaiah 58:8. He called on the youth to embody and radiate God’s presence in every aspect of their lives, highlighting the importance of spiritual growth and renewal in navigating today’s challenges.
“This gathering is not just a meeting; it is a divine appointment,” Akinkunmi stated, urging attendees to fully engage in the worship, workshops, and talks designed to deepen their understanding of living out God’s glory through acts of kindness, justice, and unwavering faith.
In his welcome address, General Coordinator Professor Evangelist Samuel Odeyemi expressed his profound joy in witnessing the youth come together for this spiritual journey. He underscored the vital role of the younger generation in carrying forward the church’s vision, stressing that the conference offers a transformative opportunity to bridge the wisdom of the elders with the innovation of the youth.
Odeyemi emphasized the critical role of the Holy Spirit in manifesting God’s glory, urging the youth to seek spiritual power essential for fulfilling their destinies and achieving dominion in their lives. “This conference will bring about a change,” Odeyemi affirmed, noting that the true manifestation of God’s glory is not through human effort but through the power of the Holy Spirit.
As the conference unfolds, participants are encouraged to support one another and embrace the opportunity for renewal, growth, and transformation. The event is poised to inspire a new generation of leaders committed to the church’s mission and prepared to manifest God’s glory in unprecedented ways.
