Daba Markets Inc., Coronation Securities Limited and Coronation Asset Management Limited have announced a strategic distribution arrangement aimed at expanding access to Nigeria’s capital market for eligible investors globally.
The arrangement combines market intelligence, investor education and digital access to enable eligible investors to better understand and participate in Nigeria’s capital market.
Daba Finance, the digital platform connecting global investors to African markets, will serve as Coronation’s corporate client under a trust structure, providing eligible users with access to Nigerian capital-market products offered by Coronation.
The arrangement, announced on September 2, 2026, allows Daba Finance users to interact with the platform while the underlying Nigerian capital-market services are provided within the country’s regulatory framework by Coronation’s Securities and Exchange Commission-registered businesses.
Daba Finance serves eligible clients globally through Daba Advisors LLC, an investment adviser registered with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. Eligibility is subject to the laws and regulations of each client’s jurisdiction.
Under the partnership, Daba Finance’s platform will feature Nigerian market intelligence backed by Coronation’s research and market expertise, including market news, data, analysis and research publications.
The two companies will also provide investor education through courses offered by Daba Academy and Coronation Investment Academy, alongside jointly hosted webinars covering Nigeria’s capital-market instruments, institutions, safeguards, opportunities and risks.
Eligible Daba Finance users will be able to access Nigerian capital-market products made available by Coronation through the platform. The live functionality supports digital onboarding, multi-currency funding, investment requests and trade placement, as well as investment reporting.
Daba Finance will manage the user journey through its platform, while Coronation will provide the relevant Nigerian capital-market expertise and products under the corporate trust arrangement.
The companies said the partnership was designed to address challenges faced by international investors seeking credible information and easier access to Nigeria’s capital market.
They added that the arrangement would combine Coronation’s Nigerian market expertise with Daba Finance’s technology and international reach to make the market more visible, accessible and understandable to a broader investor audience.
The partnership also includes investor-education webinars and courses aimed at helping both new and experienced investors understand the opportunities and risks associated with Nigeria’s capital market.
Nigerian capital-market services under the arrangement will be provided by locally regulated entities, including Coronation Securities Limited and Coronation Asset Management Limited.
The companies said the relevant functionality is currently live on the Daba Finance platform.
