As part of its strategy to expand market share and strengthen customer loyalty, Pan-African conglomerate Dangote Industries Limited (DIL) and its subsidiaries are set to headline the 2025 Lagos International Trade Fair, showcasing a wide range of products and innovations.
The fair, which begins on Friday, November 7, 2025, at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Onikan, Lagos, will feature several of the Group’s business units, including Dangote Sugar Refinery, Dangote Petroleum Refinery, Dangote Packaging, NASCON Allied Industries Plc (makers of Dangote Salt and seasonings), Dangote Sinotruk, Dangote Fertiliser, Dangote Cement, and Gata Rice.
Products to be exhibited include Dangote Sugar, Dangote Salt, seasonings, fertiliser, polypropylene, rice, and sacks, among others.
Adding vibrancy to this year’s fair, Dangote Sugar Refinery will unveil its new 100g sachet and 25kg bag of sugar, designed to offer affordability amid current economic challenges. The 100g sachet targets in-home consumers, while the 25kg pack coincides with the company’s 25th anniversary celebration and will be officially launched on “Dangote Day”, scheduled for Wednesday, November 12.
In a statement, Anthony Chiejina, Group Chief, Branding and Communications Officer, said the anniversary marks a significant milestone for Dangote Sugar, which is also undergoing a major upgrade at its Apapa Refinery.
“We are committed to meeting customer needs, sustaining premium quality, and maintaining our position as the preferred sugar refiner and brand for consumers and stakeholders,” he stated.
Visitors to the Dangote Group pavilion will be able to purchase products at discounted prices, while potential distributors and retailers can register to start business partnerships with the company. Chiejina noted that the timing of the fair is ideal, as it allows retailers to stock up for the festive season and consumers to buy affordably for the holidays.
Additionally, some subsidiaries will host student visitors, who will receive branded educational materials such as pens, pencils, and notebooks.
Speaking on the new sugar packs, Rilwan Yusuf, Head of Marketing Operations (Sales) at Dangote Sugar Refinery, explained that the new 100g and 25kg packs were introduced to meet evolving customer needs and enhance affordability.
“The new packs will attract volume from the unbranded market, make our products more accessible to low-income consumers, and strengthen our visibility and leadership in the retail segment,” Yusuf said.
He added that the products also provide convenient options for gifting and donations, especially during festive occasions.
Through its participation in the trade fair, Dangote Industries aims to reinforce its commitment to innovation, affordability, and customer satisfaction while celebrating 25 years of growth and impact in Nigeria’s manufacturing sector.
