Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced the ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) from ₦850 to ₦820 per litre, effective Tuesday, August 12, 2025.
In a statement signed by Chief Branding and Communications Officer Anthony Chiejina, the refinery said the price cut reflects its “unwavering commitment to national development” and assured Nigerians of a steady supply of petroleum products.
The statement also announced plans to begin the phased deployment of 4,000 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered trucks for nationwide fuel distribution from August 15, 2025. “In line with our dedication to operational excellence and sustainable energy solutions, this initiative will enhance efficiency while supporting cleaner energy use,” it added.
