FC Lorient board has rejected a 19 Million Euros bid from fellow Ligue 1 rivals Bordeaux for Terem Moffi, according to media reports.
Bordeaux are desperate to strengthen in attack before the close of the summer transfer window and so the massive bid for Moffi, insiders told butfootballclub.fr
“The Lorient board has just rejected an offer in the region of 19 Million Euros for striker Terem Moffi,” revealed a club insider.
“Lorient do not intend to let go their talented striker.”
Moffi, who fired a hat-trick against Bordeaux last season, has also been linked with Borussia Dortmund as well as Inter Milan.
Lorient forked out a record eight Million Euros for Moffi, 22, in October.
He has more than paid off this investment after he scored 15 goals in all competitions last season to help them stay up in Ligue 1.
He has continued from where he stopped last season when he grabbed the match winner against Monaco at the weekend.
