The Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), CP Miller G. Dantawaye, on Tuesday, October 22, 2025, paid courtesy visits to the heads of key sister security agencies in Abuja as part of his ongoing familiarisation tour.
Those visited included the Commander, Guards Brigade, Brig. Gen. Adebisi Onasanya; Commander, Naval Base Abuja, Commodore O.E. Oladipo; Commander, 053 NAF Camp, Group Capt. H.S. Ibrahim; and the Commandant, NSCDC FCT Command, Dr. Olusola Odumosu.
The visits were aimed at strengthening inter-agency collaboration, intelligence sharing, and joint operational strategies to enhance the security framework of the FCT.
CP Dantawaye stressed that effective policing and national security depend on unity of purpose among security stakeholders. He commended the ongoing cooperation among the agencies and called for continued synergy to address emerging security threats in the Territory.
The commanders, in their separate remarks, reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the Nigeria Police and sustaining collective efforts to maintain peace and stability within the nation’s capital.
The engagements concluded with renewed pledges of collaboration and mutual respect among the security formations.
