FlashChange, a digital asset management and cross-border payment platform, has announced plans to host a virtual webinar to mark International Women’s Day, (IWD) 2026.
Themed “Investing in Women, Investing in Growth,” the event, scheduled for March 7, 2026, will focus on the economic impact of empowering women and advancing financial inclusion across Africa.
The webinar is expected to bring together female leaders, entrepreneurs, finance professionals and digital innovators to examine how improved access to capital, technology, mentorship and networks can drive sustainable growth for businesses and communities.
Chief Communications Officer, FlashChange Ememobong Udofot, said the theme reflects both a moral responsibility and a strategic economic choice. She noted that equipping women with the right financial tools and opportunities generates multiplier effects across households, enterprises and national economies.
“When women are equipped with the right financial tools and opportunities, they do not just transform their own lives; they multiply impact across families, enterprises and nations. At FlashChange, we believe financial access is not a privilege; it is infrastructure for growth,” she said.
Panel discussions will centre on bridging the gender financing gap, leveraging fintech for inclusive growth, and building resilient women-led enterprises in emerging markets. Speakers are expected to provide practical insights on navigating funding opportunities, adopting digital finance tools and scaling women-owned businesses in a rapidly evolving global economy.
The company noted that women remain disproportionately excluded from formal financial systems despite operating a significant share of small and medium-sized enterprises across Africa. Limited access to credit, digital payment solutions and investment networks continues to constrain women’s economic advancement.
FlashChange said the IWD initiative is part of its broader commitment to inclusive growth and responsible corporate citizenship, aimed at fostering knowledge-sharing and collaboration.
The webinar will be open to entrepreneurs, students and professionals, with participants able to engage in live question-and-answer sessions and virtual networking opportunities. To participate kindly register using this link: https://luma.com/ay5a1gjt
