I don’t want to lose Maduka – Henk Fraser


Sparta Rotterdam coach, Henk Fraser declared that he is banking on Super Eagles goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye for the new campaign.
Okoye has been linked with a potential transfer to top European club, with the likes of Ajax Amsterdam and Real Betis reportedly showing interest in the lad.
The Nigerian international impressed in the 2020-2021 season, keeping ten clean sheets from 28 matches matches for the club.
The feat however earned him Sparta Rotterdam most valuable player of the season award.
In an exclusive chat with Voetbalprimeur, Fraser admitted that Maduka’s impressive form drew the attention of top European club, but he want to keep the German born shot stopper.
“I don’t want to lose Maduka, not even for ten million euros,” said his coach Henk Fraser
He stressed that Maduka is happy to continue at the club, but admitted that the possibility of an exit cannot be completely rule out considering his level of performances.
