Inter Milan Reject Leeds United Interest in Petar Sučić

Leeds United have reportedly been told that Inter Milan midfielder Petar Sučić is not available for transfer this summer, dealing a setback to the club’s search for midfield reinforcements.

The Premier League side are looking to strengthen their squad after securing a 14th-place finish last season and had identified the 22-year-old Croatia international as a potential target.

However, reports in the Italian media claim Inter Milan have no intention of selling Sučić during the current transfer window. The Serie A club are said to regard the midfielder as an important part of their long-term plans and would only consider a sale if they received an exceptional offer.

Leeds are believed to value Sučić at between £29 million and £34 million, but any bid in that range is expected to be rejected by the Italian giants.

The development means manager Daniel Farke may have to turn his attention to alternative midfield targets as Leeds continue their summer recruitment drive.

The Yorkshire club remain active in the transfer market and have already completed several high-profile signings, while also continuing their pursuit of further additions ahead of the new Premier League season.
