Kano State Police Command Promotes 154 Traffic Wardens to Boost Road Safety

The Kano State Commissioner of Police, CP Salman Dogo Garba, has promoted 154 traffic wardens, with new ranks spanning from Traffic Warden Grade I to Senior Traffic Warden. During the ceremony, CP Dogo extended his congratulations to the officers and urged them to enhance their commitment to smooth traffic flow and public safety on Kano’s roads.

“You have been entrusted with greater responsibility,” CP Dogo stated. “I expect you to uphold integrity, professionalism, and a strong commitment to serving the public. Avoid any form of corruption and prioritize the safety of road users.”

The promotion aligns with the Inspector-General of Police’s initiative to strengthen traffic management and public safety. CP Dogo reaffirmed the Kano Police Command’s dedication to effective security measures across the state, emphasizing its commitment to integrity in service.
