The Lagos State Police Command has congratulated Dr. Ayo Ogunsan on his appointment as the Executive Secretary of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
In a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Abimbola Adebisi, on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Jimoh, the Command described Dr. Ogunsan’s appointment as a testament to the Governor’s confidence in his integrity, leadership ability, and long-standing contributions to the state’s security architecture.
The statement highlighted Dr. Ogunsan’s years of selfless service and strategic input as a member of the LSSTF Board, noting that his appointment comes at a crucial time when Lagos continues to enhance its multi-agency security framework.
“The Commissioner of Police is confident that Dr. Ogunsan will bring his wealth of experience, institutional knowledge, and dedication to bear in this new role,” the statement read.
The Command also commended Dr. Ogunsan’s strong partnership with the Police and other security agencies, which it said has significantly improved operational capacity and community safety across the state. It expressed optimism that his leadership will further strengthen the LSSTF’s efficiency and innovation.
Reaffirming its commitment to inter-agency collaboration, the Lagos State Police Command assured Dr. Ogunsan of continued support in the collective effort to protect lives and property in the state.
“The Command celebrates this milestone achievement and looks forward to deepening its strategic partnership with the LSSTF under Dr. Ogunsan’s leadership,” the statement concluded.
