In commemoration of the maiden edition of National Police Day, the Executive Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede, has extended warm felicitations to the officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force serving within the local government area.
In a press statement issued by his media office on Monday, Otunba Oloyede commended the Area Commander, the three Divisional Police Officers, and all ranks of the Force for their steadfast service and dedication to maintaining peace and security across Oshodi-Isolo.
Describing the Nigeria Police Force as the “defender of the people,” the council chairman applauded their resilience and sacrifice in safeguarding lives and property, especially in a complex and ever-challenging security landscape.
“I celebrate our Area Commander, the Divisional Police Officers, and all gallant officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force on the occasion of the maiden edition of National Police Day,” Oloyede stated. “You are our true partners in ensuring the safety and security of our communities, and we deeply appreciate your unwavering commitment and support.”
He further emphasized the collaborative relationship between the local government and security agencies, noting that the continued peace and stability in Oshodi-Isolo is a result of their joint efforts.
“On behalf of the executive, management, staff, and the entire people of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, I celebrate with you and pray that you witness many more of this important day,” he concluded.
The National Police Day celebration is aimed at recognizing and honoring the service and sacrifices of police personnel across the country.
