MTN Nigeria has introduced MTN Loyalty Coins, a rewards programme on its myMTN NG app that allows customers to earn coins on qualifying transactions and redeem them for airtime, data, shopping vouchers and lifestyle benefits.
The programme, developed in partnership with Bvndle, a Loyalty-as-a-Service platform, is designed to reward customers for using digital services while providing additional value on everyday transactions.
Each MTN Loyalty Coin has a fixed redemption value of ₦10. First-time users who download the myMTN NG app will also receive welcome coins to begin earning rewards.
Customers can redeem their coins through the Bvndle marketplace within the app across three categories: telecommunications benefits, including airtime and data; daily essentials, such as bill payments, food and groceries; and lifestyle offerings covering health and wellness, fashion, books and entertainment.
MTN Nigeria’s Chief Marketing Officer, Onyinye Ikenna-Emeka, said the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to rewarding customers for embracing digital services.
“MTN Loyalty Coins is our way of saying thank you: every time a customer chooses the convenience of the myMTN NG app, they earn real value they can spend on what matters to them, from airtime and data to groceries and lifestyle treats,” she said.
She added that the programme supports the company’s ambition to promote digital, social and financial inclusion while extending the value customers receive beyond connectivity.
Ikechukwu Nwaguru, Acting Managing Director of Bvndle Loyalty Limited, said the partnership connects customers to a wider network of merchants and enables businesses to reward customer engagement through everyday digital transactions.
He added that the platform is designed to provide practical benefits for customers, businesses and merchants through increased engagement and transactions.
MTN Loyalty Coins forms part of MTN Nigeria’s broader strategy to position the myMTN NG app as a digital platform for managing connectivity and accessing other everyday services.
