NNPC Multispecialty Hospital (NMSH) in Abuja welcomed the first baby of 2026 on Thursday, January 1, marking a joyful start to the new year. At 3:39 a.m., a healthy baby girl, Ummulkhairi Alkasim, was delivered weighing 2.7 kg. Both mother and child are reported to be in good health.
The delivery was managed by NMSH’s dedicated medical team, reflecting the hospital’s commitment to quality and compassionate care. Proud parents Hafsat Abubakar and Jibril Alkasim expressed gratitude and joy at welcoming their daughter at the very start of the year.
