The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) has announced the appointment of Mr. Andy Odeh as Chief Corporate Communications Officer and Mrs. Morenike Adewunmi as Chief Relations Officer.
Odeh, who brings over three decades of professional experience in communications, business administration, oil and gas, advertising, and broadcasting, joins NNPC after a 26-year career at Nigeria LNG (NLNG). At NLNG, he held several leadership roles spanning community relations, logistics, corporate communications, government relations, and regulatory compliance, most recently serving as General Manager, External Relations and Sustainable Development.
Adewunmi, a lawyer with more than 25 years of industry experience, spent much of her career with Shell Companies in Nigeria. Her expertise lies in regulatory affairs and government relations, with responsibilities that included managing engagements with ministries, agencies, and the presidency, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.
In a statement, NNPC Ltd. said the appointments reflect its commitment to enhancing communications, strengthening stakeholder engagement, and supporting the company’s strategic objectives.
