The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) and the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) have pledged to strengthen their collaboration to enhance Nigeria’s energy security and advance the development of the petroleum industry.
The commitment was made during a meeting between the Group Chief Executive Officer of NNPC Ltd., Bashir Bayo Ojulari, and the Chief Executive Officer of NMDPRA, Rabiu Abdullahi Umar, in Abuja.
The meeting focused on issues of mutual interest, particularly efforts to sustain cooperation in developing Nigeria’s midstream and downstream petroleum sectors, which play critical roles in the country’s energy supply and security.
Both organisations reaffirmed the importance of continued collaboration between the national oil company and the regulatory authority to support growth, improve the petroleum industry and strengthen Nigeria’s energy sector.
