: Polaris Bank has graduated 58 new hires from its Polaris Graduate Intensive Training (PGIT) and Polaris Tech Ignite Programme (PTIP), reaffirming its commitment to developing top-tier talent for Nigeria’s financial services sector.
The graduation ceremony, held in Lagos, brought together senior executives and invited guests to celebrate a highly selective cohort chosen from over 10,000 applicants, representing the top 0.58 percent.
Speaking at the event, Managing Director/CEO, Kayode Lawal, charged the graduates to embrace continuous learning and adaptability in an increasingly technology-driven industry.
He highlighted the rapid evolution of the global economy, noting that advancements such as artificial intelligence have significantly accelerated processes across sectors, making ongoing skills development essential for career growth.
Lawal also underscored the importance of integrity, describing it as the foundation of a successful banking career, while urging the graduates to uphold ethical standards and professionalism in their roles.
He further encouraged disciplined financial habits, humility, and gratitude, stressing that long-term success extends beyond technical competence to strong values and character.
The PGIT and PTIP programmes provide intensive training in banking and technology disciplines and have produced high-performing professionals over the years. The newly inducted employees will be deployed across key business functions to support the bank’s strategic focus on retail expansion, digital innovation, and enhanced customer experience.
