Polaris Bank has introduced a new Gift Card feature on its digital lifestyle platform, VULTe, enabling customers to send global brand gift cards to family and friends across borders within seconds.
The bank said the feature is designed to offer speed, security and convenience, allowing users to select from a wide range of international and local brands spanning groceries, beauty and wellness, fashion, electronics, entertainment, gaming and lifestyle services.
With the new offering, customers can pay for subscriptions such as Netflix in London, gift Spotify Premium in Accra, send a Starbucks voucher in New York, or support shopping on platforms like Amazon and Shoprite.
According to the bank, users can access the feature by logging into VULTe, selecting the Lifestyle option, choosing Gift Card, picking a preferred brand, entering the amount and recipient’s email, and authorising the transaction with their PIN. The gift card is delivered instantly, eliminating shipping delays, currency constraints and geographic barriers.
The Gift Card catalogue includes brands such as Amazon, SureGift, Visa and MasterCard prepaid cards, iTunes and Apple, Google Play, Steam, Razer Gold, Netflix, Spotify, Starbucks and PaySafeCard, covering physical goods, digital content, subscriptions, gaming and everyday essentials.
Polaris Bank said the initiative reinforces its commitment to digital innovation and lifestyle banking, positioning VULTe as a bridge between financial services and global consumer experiences.
The lender has been recognised as Nigeria’s Digital Bank of the Year for five consecutive years from 2021 to 2025, and MSME Bank of the Year from 2022 to 2024 at the BusinessDay Banks and Other Financial Institutions (BAFI) Awards.
