Rite Foods Limited has strengthened its reputation as a leader in Nigeria’s food and beverage sector after securing four major honours at the 2025 Social Impact and Sustainability Awards (SISA) and The SERAS Africa Sustainability Awards.
At the SISA Awards, the company won Best Health-Focused CSR Programme of the Year, Education Empowerment Champion of the Year, and CEO Champion of Corporate Responsibility. It also clinched the Best in Supply Chain Management award at SERAS. The recognitions underscore Rite Foods’ commitment to advancing healthcare, supporting education, and delivering sustainable community-focused initiatives nationwide.
The awards were presented during ceremonies attended by key players in the FMCG industry and the broader Nigerian business community on November 28 at the MUSON Centre and on November 29 at the Oriental Hotel in Lagos.
Ekuma Eze, Head of Corporate Affairs & Sustainability at Rite Foods, described the honours as a validation of the company’s mission to place people, the planet, and purpose at the core of its operations. He noted that Rite Foods’ sustainability drive is anchored on its EYEC framework—Environmental Stewardship, Youth Empowerment, Education, and Community Development.
“This achievement is a testament to teamwork and collaboration,” Eze said, dedicating the awards to the company’s staff.
He added that Rite Foods’ bold marketing strategies and consumer-focused initiatives continue to deepen engagement across its wide customer base. The company’s product lineup includes 13 variants of Bigi Carbonated Soft Drinks, Bigi Table Water, Sosa Fruit Drink, Fearless Energy Drink, and newly launched offerings such as Bigi Flex, Rite Spicy Beef, and Bigi Beef Sausage Rolls—all produced at its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.
Presenting the CEO Champion of Corporate Responsibility award, event organiser Eche Munonye commended Rite Foods CEO, Seleem Adegunwa, for his commitment to sustainability and impactful social programmes that benefit communities and set industry standards.
The latest honours add to a growing list of accolades for Rite Foods. The company recently won three awards at the 2025 Edge Awards—including Outstanding Carbonated Soft Drink Brand of the Year for Bigi Apple—and earned the Food Company of the Year 2024 title at the Independent Awards, reinforcing its status as a proudly Nigerian and globally competitive brand.
