promoted Salernitana are the latest club to be interested in signing ‘Simy’ Nwankwo.
According to Italian transfer specialist Alfredo Pedulla, Salernitana want to improve their firepower in a bid to stay up Serie A in the new season.
Nwankwo, who netted 20 goals for relegated Crotone last season, is therefore ine of their prime targets.
Should a transfer go through, ‘Simy’ will reunite with fellow Super Eagles star Joel Obi, who recently signed as a free agent.
It has also been reported that the newcomers to Serie A have also cast their eyes on Chelsea striker Ike Ugbo, who is wanted by several other clubs following his showing on loan at Belgian club Cercle Brugge last season.
