Babajide Sanwo-Olu has congratulated the Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi on his 50th birthday, praising the monarch as a visionary leader who has fostered peace, growth, and development in his domain.
In a statement issued Thursday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Gboyega Akosile, Sanwo-Olu described Oba Elegushi as a committed traditional ruler whose almost two-decade reign has significantly impacted the Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom and Lagos State at large.
“Oba Elegushi has dedicated his youthful and adult life to the service of his people and the traditional institution in Ikate-Elegushi,” the Governor said. “He is a visionary and vibrant ruler whose contributions to the growth and development of his domain are commendable.”
Sanwo-Olu extended prayers for continued health, wisdom, and prosperity for the monarch, wishing him many more fruitful years on the throne to sustain peace and progress in the kingdom.
