Former Senate President and Chairman of the 8th National Assembly, Dr. Bukola Saraki, on Tuesday paid a condolence visit to the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Abba Moro, following the tragic death of his son and grandson.
During the visit, Saraki expressed deep sorrow over the loss, describing it as “deeply painful,” and prayed for divine strength and comfort for the bereaved family.
“This evening, I spent time with the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Abba Moro, and his family to offer my heartfelt condolences on the passing of his son and grandson,” Saraki said after the visit. “As we continue to keep the entire Moro family in our thoughts and prayers, it is my hope that the Almighty gives them peace and fortitude at this difficult time.”
He also called on friends, colleagues, and well-wishers to remember the Moro family in their prayers and offer support during their period of grief.
Saraki’s visit, held at the Moro family residence, highlighted his enduring camaraderie with National Assembly colleagues and his compassion toward those facing personal loss.
