Rite Foods Limited, through its flagship brand Sosa Fruit Juice, has announced a strategic partnership with the Dolphin Swimming League to host this year’s swimming competition, reinforcing the company’s commitment to youth development, education, and community empowerment.

Now in its seventh season, the Dolphin Swimming League is Nigeria’s first private school swimming tournament, featuring primary and secondary school students. Organized by Dynaspro Promotion Limited with support from the Lagos State Swimming Association and the Aquatics Federation of Nigeria, the league has produced swimmers who have represented the country at regional, continental, and World Junior Championships.

Speaking at a media briefing, Ruth Mark, Brand Manager for Sosa, said the partnership underscores the brand’s dedication to children and families. “This strategic partnership focuses on investing in children through the Dolphin Swimming League,” she said.

Olukemi Ogunsakin, Corporate Communications Manager at Rite Foods, emphasized that the initiative aligns with the company’s EYEC sustainability framework, particularly Youth Empowerment and Education. She described the league as a world-class sporting platform that can raise Nigeria’s profile on the international stage. “At Rite Foods, we believe in education, promoting sustainability, and investing in youth development for a better tomorrow,” Ogunsakin said.

Dolphin Swimming League Coordinator Oyebode Oluseyi commended Sosa for moving from a fringe supporter to a key partner. He noted that the league, which began in 2017, recently produced 19 gold medalists at the Lagos Sports Festival. “With Sosa’s support, we are confident the future is bright, and we envision our students becoming Olympians,” Oluseyi said. He highlighted plans to introduce long-course races of 200m–400m for the first time.

The league is also planning to expand to Ibadan with the launch of the South-West Dolphin League. Through this partnership, Sosa and the Dolphin Swimming League aim to create a sustainable pipeline of swimming champions who can elevate Nigeria’s sporting reputation internationally.

Reaffirming its commitment to sports, education, and youth empowerment, Sosa pledged to continue investing in initiatives that leave a lasting impact in Nigeria and beyond
