Kwara United and former Nigeria U23 striker Wasiu Alalade has stated that he feels bad not been able to realize his dream of being part of the Tokyo Olympics stressing that it hurts more when he thinks of the failure of Nigeria U23 national team to qualify for the games.
Alalade speaking in a chat with brila.net said it’s a missed opportunity to lose out of the chance to have been part of the Olympic party considering the opportunities there to better their careers as footballers.
“It’s the dream of every young player to be in the Olympics but to be realistic I am not feeling fine especially feeling that I should have been there. Definitely, it’s a missed opportunity but we look forward to more opportunities ahead. I have the hope that I will still be there at the Olympic games.
