Union Bank Awards ₦21M to 452 Customers in UnionKorrect Draw

Union Bank, one of Nigeria’s leading financial institutions, has rewarded 452 UnionKorrect account holders with cash prizes totaling over ₦21 million in its latest draw, held at the bank’s Douglas Road Branch in Owerri, Imo State.

The draw, which was conducted under the supervision of relevant regulatory bodies, saw winners emerge across different categories. In the UnionKorrect Regular category, 100 customers won ₦25,000 each, 40 customers received ₦50,000 each, and one lucky winner walked away with the grand prize of ₦500,000.

For the UnionKorrect Exclusive category, 75 customers were rewarded with ₦100,000 each, while 10 others received ₦500,000 each. The grand prize winner in this category took home a cash prize of ₦1 million.

Additionally, customers who saved in their UnionKorrect DeiDei accounts were also recognized. A total of 200 customers won ₦10,000 each, while 24 customers received ₦20,000 each. The grand prize of ₦100,000 was awarded to one customer in this category.

Speaking on the impact of the initiative, Adenike Olokunbola, Head of Elite Banking at Union Bank, reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to empowering its customers.

“Union Bank is happy to support our customers in achieving their financial goals and dreams through initiatives like this. The UnionKorrect account provides a structured way for customers to save while offering the added benefit of cash rewards for their commitment to financial discipline,” she stated.

The UnionKorrect savings product is designed to encourage long-term saving habits. It operates as a sub-account where customers deposit a fixed amount monthly for two years while earning interest. Those who maintain consistent savings qualify for periodic draws, giving them the opportunity to win substantial cash rewards.
