It has now been revealed that Galatasaray pulled out of signing Henry Onyekuru on a permanent basis because they would have had to pay AS Monaco half of the profit they will receive should they sell him again.
This means that the 4.3 Million Euros Galatasaray will pay Monaco for Onyekuru was just the first part of the deal.
According to Ajansspor, the second part of the deal was that if the Turkish club subsequently sold the winger for more than five Million Euros, Monaco will be entitled to 50% of the profit from that sale.
So, if Galatasaray should go on to sell Onyekuru for nine Million Euros, they would have had to pay Monaco an additional two Million Euros, which is half of their profit of four Million Euros.
The newly elected leaders of ‘Gala’ decided against such a commitment.

The Super Eagles ace is reported to be in Istanbul with his agent to now discuss a transfer to Galatasaray local rivals, Besiktas and Fenerbache.
