The Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Yazid Danfulani as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Agricultural Insurance Corporation (NAIC).

In a statement signed by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Yusuf Idris Gusau, the APC described Danfulani’s appointment as a significant achievement for both Zamfara State and Nigeria, highlighting it as a reflection of the president’s confidence in competent and loyal party members.

The party also acknowledged the role of former Zamfara governor and current Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, for his continued influence in promoting the state’s interests at the federal level.

“This appointment is a source of pride for Zamfara and a testament to President Tinubu’s inclusive leadership,” the statement said. “As a seasoned banker and technocrat, Yazid Danfulani brings with him a wealth of experience that will positively impact the operations of NAIC.”

The APC congratulated Danfulani on his new role, describing him as a dedicated and hardworking professional whose appointment has generated excitement, particularly among the youth wing of the party.

“His simplicity, integrity, and work ethic are widely recognized, and we are confident that he will serve as a worthy ambassador of Zamfara State on the national stage,” the statement added.

The party reiterated its unwavering loyalty to President Tinubu and the APC, pledging continued support for policies and appointments that promote national development and inclusive governance.
