…Evang Adegbola Akinwale Addresses Economic Challenges, Calls for Policy Review and Prayer for Leaders

In a recent address, spiritual leader Ekunola Davies highlighted the importance of responsibility and divine selection in leadership. “Leadership is responsibility,” Davis asserted, emphasizing that “it is God who chooses leaders spiritually, not politically. This time, God will choose a leader who will lead His people responsibly, and the people must be loyal to him.”
Ekunola Davies specifically addressed the youth of the Celestial Church, urging them to be obedient to their leaders. “The youth in the Celestial Church are submissive to their leadership,” he noted, praising Odeyemi, the youth coordinator for the church worldwide. He mentioned the successful work of various youth areas, including Area D, Area G, Area A, and Area F, and prayed for their continued unity and focus.
When asked about his advice for the annual Bible conference, Ekunola Davies, encouraged participants to “keep the fire burning” and be mindful of time. Despite a location change, he anticipated a strong turnout for the next meeting and extended an invitation to all, emphasizing the importance of making the Bible conference an annual event in their lives.
Adegbola Akinwale underscored the critical role of obedience in governance, stating, “Obedience is not compromise. The strength of governance lies in obedience to rules and regulations that govern a nation.” He highlighted the importance of national ethics, which include integrity, transparency, and truthfulness, and stressed that no nation can prosper if its people do not cooperate with their leaders.
He drew parallels between National and church governance, warning against discord between leaders and followers. “When there is a discordant tune between the lead and the leaders, there’s going to be a problem,” he said. Adegbola called for leaders to live by example and for followers to practice obedience in all aspects of life, including within the family.
Discussing the current economic situation, Adegbola acknowledged the challenges of recent government policies. However, he expressed confidence that good leaders would review and adjust policies for the betterment of society. He reminded followers that rebellion is not the answer and urged them to pray for their leaders.
Adegbola Akinwale, concluded by advising the youth to learn from the past and be patient. “The youth must learn the truth and walk on the path of truth,” he said, encouraging them to wait for their turn to lead and to correct any wrongs they observe.
