Adron Homes and Properties, a leading real estate firm, reinforced its commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) through its fourth annual Breast Cancer Awareness and Screening Initiative, led by Vice Chairman Olori Aderonke Emmanuelking. The event, held at the company’s head office in Omole, Lagos, in partnership with Pink Clinic, marked World Breast Cancer Month 2024 with free screenings, workshops, and health guidance for hundreds of attendees.
At the event’s opening, Olori Emmanuelking shared a message of solidarity with those affected by breast cancer, stating, “Today, we remember all breast cancer warriors — those who have fought bravely, survivors who inspire hope, and supportive families.” This year’s theme, “No One Should Face Breast Cancer Alone,” underscores Adron Homes’ dedication to community impact through CSR.
Dr. Linda Keku, Chief Medical Director of Pink Clinic, praised Adron Homes and Olori Emmanuelking for their support. “Breast cancer affects both men and women, and early detection is key. If changes are noticed, prompt consultation with a doctor is essential,” Dr. Keku advised.
The initiative featured a Walk Against Breast Cancer to raise awareness and funds for research, along with free screenings and expert consultations. Workshops provided guidance on self-exams, healthy lifestyle choices, and preventive care, encouraging participants to adopt proactive health practices.
Olori Emmanuelking emphasized the value of a balanced lifestyle, urging participants to avoid cancer-triggering foods and prioritize regular self-checks. Through partnerships like that with Pink Clinic, Adron Homes continues to make a lasting, positive impact on community health and wellness across Nigeria.
