Stanbic IBTC Holdings, a member of the Standard Bank Group, has launched the fourth edition of its flagship Digital Skills Empowerment Programme (DiSEP 4.0), reaffirming its commitment to empowering young Nigerians and advancing digital transformation in the country.

DiSEP 4.0 is designed to address Nigeria’s digital skills gap by equipping young graduates with cutting-edge knowledge and tools for success in the rapidly evolving Information Technology (IT) sector. Participants will receive intensive training in high-demand digital technologies, including Kubernetes, DevOps, Java, C#, NetCore, and Software Testing and Automation. The program also provides opportunities for professional certifications and hands-on experience, preparing graduates to enter the workforce with a competitive edge.

Applications Now Open
Applications for DiSEP 4.0 opened on Friday, November 1, 2024, offering a transformative opportunity for aspiring tech professionals.

Transforming Lives Through Technology
Speaking on the impact of the program, Dr. Kunle Adedeji, Acting Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Holdings, highlighted the success of previous editions since the program’s inception in October 2021.
“We have witnessed remarkable achievements from our past cohorts,” Adedeji said. “Many graduates have launched successful careers in software engineering, data analysis, and cloud computing. Beyond personal success, these individuals are making significant contributions to their communities and the broader tech ecosystem.”

Aiming for the Future
DiSEP 4.0 is tailored for ambitious young graduates passionate about technology and continuous learning. This year, 200 participants will be selected to gain the skills and expertise needed to thrive in the digital economy.

Eligibility Criteria:

A minimum of Second-Class Lower Honours in Information Technology or Engineering.
A National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge certificate.
These requirements ensure that participants possess the academic foundation and dedication required for the program.
