Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has celebrated his wife, Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, on her 59th birthday, describing her as a courageous, kind-hearted, and dependable partner.
Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, a medical doctor, First Lady of Lagos State, and Chairman of the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO), turns 59 on Thursday, January 8.
In a statement issued on Wednesday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Gboyega Akosile, Governor Sanwo-Olu praised his wife of over two decades for her unwavering support in his administration’s THEMES+ development agenda. He described her as a committed prayer warrior, loving wife, and caring mother.
“On behalf of the government and people of Lagos State, I celebrate my darling wife, trusted and reliable partner, prayer warrior, and the First Lady of Lagos, Dr Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, on her 59th birthday,” the governor said.
He added, “Ibijoke is a God-fearing woman, a good companion, and a passionate Christian who loves children. She has complemented the roles God has given us with dignity and used her position as First Lady to support my work in delivering the dividends of democracy to millions of Lagos residents.”
Governor Sanwo-Olu extended gratitude for her contributions to their family, the medical profession, Lagos State, and humanity, wishing her good health and many more fruitful and impactful years ahead.
