Bigi and Fearless Energy Drink, brands of Rite Foods Limited, have taken the Soundcity OnTour experience to the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), for three days of music, entertainment and talent discovery from October 7 to 9, 2026.
The campus activation features music auditions, dance competitions, games and interactive activities designed to engage students and showcase emerging talents.
A major highlight is the BIGI Music Competition, which offers aspiring student artistes the opportunity to compete for a ₦1 million prize. The Fearless Dance Competition will also provide a platform for dancers to demonstrate their creativity and skills.
The activities will culminate in a grand concert on October 9, bringing live entertainment and youth culture to the university campus.
Biola Aransiola, Brand Manager, BIGI, said the initiative was designed to provide young Nigerians with opportunities to express themselves and gain visibility for their talents.
“Young Nigerians are full of talent, creativity and big dreams, and we want to create spaces where they can bring their creativity to life,” Aransiola said.
She added that Soundcity OnTour enables the brands to engage students across different campuses and provide platforms for emerging talents to be seen and heard.
The FUNAAB event is part of the 2026 Soundcity OnTour programme, which has expanded to 20 campuses from its debut at 10 institutions in 2023.
The tour has visited several institutions, including Pan-Atlantic University, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Yaba College of Technology, the University of Lagos, the University of Uyo, the University of Calabar, Obafemi Awolowo University, the University of Port Harcourt, Niger Delta University and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
Through the initiative, BIGI focuses on music and emerging artistes, while Fearless Energy Drink engages students through dance and other entertainment activities.
