Ahmed Musa: This is a new chapter for me

Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has described his transfer to little known Turkish club Karagumruk as “a new chapter” in a career that has spanned several European clubs as well as

two memorable World Cups.
At the weekend, Ahmed Musa snatched a late winner for his new club to get off to a winning start on their debut in the Turkish Super Lig.

“There is a family atmosphere for me here,” the former Leicester City star said in an interview.
“My coach, club staff, president and player friends are great. I feel very happy to be in this team.”
He further said the target is to help the Istanbul club to be successful.

“When I came here, President Süleyman Hurma talked about the success of the club in recent years. I also want to contribute to the success of this team. I want to take this club higher.
“I will do my best to please the Karagümrük fans. Our supporters came to one of our training sessions and cheered me.

“I felt very happy. I will give my best to make them happy.”
