FirstBank, Visa Launch Visa Signature Premium Card

First Bank of Nigeria Limited, in partnership with Visa, has launched Visa Signature, a premium card product targeted at Nigeria’s affluent customers and frequent international travellers.

The new offering is designed to provide exclusive lifestyle benefits, global travel privileges and curated merchant offers through Visa’s worldwide payment network.

According to the bank, the Visa Signature card is aimed at top executives, business owners and high-net-worth individuals seeking enhanced financial and lifestyle experiences.

Cardholders will have access to preferential rates, premium services and exclusive experiences across partner hotels, airlines, merchants and destinations worldwide through Visa Global Benefits and Visa Destination Offers.

The card also supports both domestic and international transactions, enabling seamless payments across multiple locations globally.

Speaking on the launch, the Group Executive, eBusiness and Retail Products at FirstBank, Chuma Ezirim, said the product reflects the bank’s commitment to delivering financial solutions tailored to the evolving lifestyles of its premium customers.

He noted that the Visa Signature card was designed to offer greater global connectivity and lifestyle privileges for customers seeking borderless experiences.

Vice President and Cluster Head, West Africa at Visa, Andrew Uaboi, described Nigeria’s affluent consumers as some of the continent’s most globally connected spenders, adding that the card was developed to meet their expectations for premium benefits and broad acceptance.

He said Visa was pleased to partner with FirstBank to introduce the product to the Nigerian market.

The launch further expands FirstBank’s Visa portfolio, which already includes Visa Infinite, Visa Gold, Naira Credit and Visa Prepaid cards.

The bank said eligible customers can apply for the Visa Signature card through FirstBank branches nationwide or via their relationship managers.
