MILO Nigeria has onboarded a new group of influencers to reinforce its connection with consumers in Northern Nigeria. The ambassadors include Ahmed Musa, professional footballer and youth role model; Mansurah Isah, actress, filmmaker, and social impact advocate; Ali Jita, songwriter and musician; Sulaiman Yahaya, popularly known as Bosho, Kannywood actor and comedian; and Anita Asuoha, aka Real Warri Pikin, who has renewed her contract with the MILO family.
Gilbert Tweneboah-Koduah, Category Manager, Beverages at Nestlé Nigeria, said the partnerships reflect the brand’s commitment to inclusivity. “By working with creators who authentically represent their communities and share our values, we are celebrating the bonds MILO has built with families across Nigeria in the most inclusive and meaningful way,” he stated.
As part of their induction, the influencers participated in an immersive factory tour to learn about MILO’s key ingredients, including cocoa, milk, and sorghum—all 100% sourced from Northern Nigeria. They observed the production process, from cocoa roasting to milk blending and malt preparation, gaining firsthand insight into MILO’s quality, nutrition, hygiene, and food safety standards.
Reflecting on her experience, Mansurah Isah said: “Seeing how MILO is made gave me a new level of respect for the brand. The hygiene and quality checks at every stage were remarkable. It makes me even prouder to be part of this journey.”
The signing ceremony at Nestlé’s Lagos head office also provided a platform for the influencers to interact with employees. Ahmed Musa highlighted MILO’s impact on Northern communities, saying: “MILO invests in young people through sports and school activities. I’m excited to use my platform to inspire even more children across the North.”
For Sulaiman Yahaya (Bosho), the partnership aligns with his passion for youth development. “MILO has been part of our lives for years. To now be part of this journey is something special,” he said.
MILO’s programs, including the MILO Basketball Championship and Building Champs, continue to nourish children, support communities, and inspire a generation to grow stronger through active and healthy living.
