MTN Nigeria has announced that its youth-focused initiative, The Gathering on 100, will hold in Aba, Abia State, from June 14 to 15, 2026, as part of efforts to connect, empower, and support young Nigerians.
The event, scheduled to take place at Prime Time Event Centre, Osisioma Junction, Aba, is designed to bring together thousands of youths through a mix of learning, creativity, innovation, entertainment, and networking opportunities.
Participants are expected to engage in activities covering content creation, gaming, fashion, music, dance, entrepreneurship, workshops, and community-building sessions aimed at fostering personal and professional development.
According to MTN, The Gathering on 100 forms part of its broader strategy to create meaningful engagement platforms for young people, while encouraging self-expression, collaboration, and innovation.
The Aba edition is expected to attract participants from across the city and neighbouring communities, strengthening the telecommunications company’s engagement with one of Nigeria’s most vibrant entrepreneurial hubs.
Ahead of the event, MTN said awareness campaigns are being rolled out across multiple media platforms to boost visibility and participation. The programme will feature a range of experiences tailored to the interests and aspirations of young Nigerians, reinforcing the company’s commitment to youth development and innovation.
MTN noted that the initiative reflects its continued efforts to create opportunities that inspire progress, foster connections, and empower individuals to thrive.
