MTN Nigeria has successfully concluded the Port Harcourt leg of its 2025 Prestige Golf Classic, held on July 25–26, bringing together top business leaders, high-value clients, and golf enthusiasts for two days of networking and competitive sport.
The exclusive, invitation-only event opened with a cocktail reception, creating a relaxed atmosphere for guests to connect. The following day featured intense competition on the greens of the Port Harcourt Golf Course, where players demonstrated skill, sportsmanship, and camaraderie. Festivities ended with an elegant all-white dinner attended by golfers, MTN executives, and other prominent personalities.
MTN Nigeria’s Chief Executive Officer, Karl Toriola, praised participants for their spirit and engagement, saying, “Today has been filled with great golf, unforgettable moments, and meaningful connections that go beyond the course. We believe great conversations and partnerships were built today, and we’re excited about the possibilities they hold for the future.”
One of the tournament’s highlights was the announcement that a top-performing golfer had won an all-expense-paid trip to attend a major golf tournament in New York, adding an international flair to the event.
Participants commended MTN for its organization and commitment to sports. Nalor Mato expressed gratitude for the opportunity, while Engr. Chidi Nba praised the brand’s long-standing impact and services.
