MTN Foundation Trains Teachers in AI, Digital Skills

By Ayomide Otitoju

The MTN Foundation, in partnership with SAIL Innovation Lab, has intensified efforts to bridge Nigeria’s digital skills gap by equipping teachers with practical technology skills for the modern classroom.

Through a specialised masterclass, participating educators received training in a range of digital competencies, including 2D animation, cloud-based note-taking, content creation tools and AI-powered lesson planning.

The programme also covered AI literacy, responsible technology use and the practical integration of artificial intelligence into teaching and assessment, preparing educators to effectively deliver lessons in an AI-enabled learning environment.

According to the organisers, the initiative underscores the MTN Foundation’s commitment to advancing technology-driven education and empowering teachers with the skills needed to enhance learning outcomes in the digital age.Copyright TRUSTAFRICA NEWS.
