MTN Nigeria has marked the Yuletide season with a curated Prestige Experience, celebrating Nigerians through an evening dedicated to connection, culture and shared moments as part of its annual Y’ellotide festivities.
The event, held on Friday, December 19, at The Royal Box, Victoria Island, Lagos, brought together customers, partners and stakeholders in an atmosphere of appreciation and celebration, in line with MTN’s broader Y’ellotide initiative aimed at promoting togetherness during the festive period.
Designed as an immersive showcase of Nigerian creativity and elegance, the Prestige Experience featured a blend of fine dining, high fashion and music. Guests were treated to Michelin-inspired cuisine curated by Chef Stone, fashion displays celebrating African heritage, and live performances by singer Asa. The evening was hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and Michelle Dede, with comedian Alibaba adding moments of humour.
Speaking at the event, the Chairman of MTN Nigeria, Dr Ernest Ndukwe (OFR), described the gathering as an expression of gratitude to Nigerians and a reaffirmation of the company’s partnership with the country.
“The MTN Prestige Experience is a cornerstone of our commitment to our valued partners. Your trust and continued patronage are the bedrock of our success. We are not just a service provider but a trusted partner in Nigeria’s progress,” he said.
Also speaking, Dr Karl Toriola, Chief Executive Officer of MTN Nigeria, emphasised the importance of meaningful relationships, particularly during the festive season. He said the experience was designed to celebrate shared journeys, mutual respect and the partnerships that have shaped MTN’s growth over the years.
“We recognise the immense value of the relationships we have built together and remain committed to delivering an unparalleled experience. Our partners are essential to our journey, and we look forward to many more years of shared success,” he said.
The event was attended by members of MTN’s board and executive management, industry leaders, government officials, members of the diplomatic community and stakeholders from the creative sector, highlighting the diversity of the MTN ecosystem.
MTN said the Prestige Experience is one of several initiatives through which it is spreading the joy of Y’ellotide this season, reinforcing its belief that meaningful connections and shared experiences remain central to its relationship with Nigerians.
