NCR Nigeria Appoints Oluwatoyin Saraki as Non-Executive Director

NCR Nigeria Plc has announced the appointment of Oluwatoyin Saraki as a Non-Executive Director, effective June 11, 2026.

The appointment, which is subject to ratification by shareholders at the company’s next Annual General Meeting (AGM), was disclosed in a statement signed by the Company Secretary, Bernice Anya.

According to the statement, the appointment was approved through a written resolution passed by the company’s Board of Directors on June 11, 2026, and is expected to further strengthen the board as NCR Nigeria builds on its recent financial recovery and growth momentum.

“The Board of Directors of NCR (Nigeria) Plc, by way of a written resolution dated Thursday, 11 June 2026, appointed Her Excellency, Mrs Oluwatoyin Saraki, as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of the Company with effect from 11 June 2026, subject to ratification by the shareholders at the next Annual General Meeting of the Company,” the statement said.

The company noted that Saraki brings extensive experience in law, governance, policy advocacy and strategic leadership acquired across the private, public and multilateral sectors. It added that the Board and Management are confident that her expertise will contribute significantly to the company’s long-term growth strategy and governance objectives.

Saraki is widely recognised for her contributions to global health and development. She serves as the Inaugural and Emeritus Global Goodwill Ambassador for the International Confederation of Midwives and holds several prominent advocacy roles.

These include serving as the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Nigeria Family Planning Champion and Global Champion for the White Ribbon Alliance.

The appointment underscores NCR Nigeria’s commitment to strengthening corporate governance and leveraging experienced leadership as it pursues sustained growth and operational excellence.
