Grammy-nominated Nigerian rapper and YBNL founder, Olamide Adedeji, popularly known as Olamide, has unveiled the official tracklist for his much-anticipated self-titled album, Olamidé, scheduled for release on Thursday, June 19, 2025.
The 17-track project brings together a powerhouse of local and international collaborators, reinforcing Olamide’s position as a global force in music. Notable Nigerian features include Wizkid, Asake, Seyi Vibez, Young Jonn, BOJ, and Darkoo. On the global front, the album features American rap legend Dr. Dre, Jamaican dancehall sensation Popcaan, British-Nigerian singer Daecolm, and Nigerian-born international DJ, Spinall.
“Big thanks to every beautiful soul that made this possible!!! #OLAMIDÉ Out 19th of June. Wabillahi Taofeek,” the rapper shared via Instagram on Monday, alongside the album artwork and full tracklist.
The project includes previously released singles ‘Kai’ and ‘99’. ‘Kai’, released on April 29, 2025, marks a long-awaited reunion with Wizkid—their first joint effort since the 2011 hit, Omo To Shan. Wizkid appears twice on the album, hinting at a revitalized musical partnership between the two stars.
Just last week, Olamide dropped 99, a vibrant posse cut featuring Asake, Seyi Vibez, Young Jonn, and Daecolm, produced by Willis. The track offered fans a dynamic preview of the album’s soundscape.
Asake’s inclusion on 99 also caught attention amid reports of a professional split earlier this year, when the singer exited YBNL to form his own label, Giran Republic. His participation on the album suggests cordial ties remain between the protégé and his former label boss.
Other tracks featured on the Olamidé album include Billionaires Club, Free, Indika, Stronger, and Rain—with each promising to explore themes of legacy, resilience, and cultural pride.
The upcoming album marks Olamide’s 11th solo studio project and follows his 2023 release Ikigai, which featured tracks like Metaverse, Hello Habibi, and Uptown Disco, a standout collaboration with Fireboy and Asake.
Olamide has consistently maintained relevance over his decade-long career, both as a chart-topping artist and label executive, credited with shaping the careers of stars such as Adekunle Gold, Lil Kesh, Fireboy DML, and Asake through his YBNL imprint.
Olamidé is expected to further cement the rapper’s legacy as one of Africa’s most influential musical icons.
