….Digital Space CEO Drives Social Change via Flores Modupe Foundation
Dr. Mrs. Olubukola Jamilah AbItoye, founder, CEO of Digital Space Group, is merging financial innovation with grassroots philanthropy to impact communities across Nigeria.
Her charity initiative, the Flores Modupe Foundation, was formally established in 2020 as a “living legacy” when she turned 40, though its philanthropic work began in 2013. Named in honor of her late mother, the foundation was inspired by her resilience as a widow who singlehandedly raised six children, all of whom became university graduates.
Since inception, the foundation has reached over 500 children, including nine currently in tertiary education, supported more than 50,000 women through food relief, education, business funding, and microfinance projects. With operations across the North, South, East, and West, Abitoye often marks her birthdays with orphanage visits, providing food, paying school fees, and offering emotional support.
Alongside her humanitarian work, AbItoye runs Digital Space Group, a licensed fintech and investment company operating under five permits, including asset management and microfinance banking. Its flagship savings platform, Digikolo, offers interest rates of 18.5% to 21% annually, with flexible, goal-based, and fixed-term options. All funds are regulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
By expanding both her foundation’s reach and her fintech operations, AbItoye aims to deepen social impact, promote financial inclusion, and empower underserved communities while driving sustainable economic growth.
