The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has refuted reports of an operational shutdown, assuring that production and truck loading remain uninterrupted.
In a statement by Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer Anthony Chiejina, the refinery described the claims as “false” and reaffirmed its daily supply of over 40 million litres of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) and steady diesel deliveries.
The company clarified that recent sales of Residual Catalytic Oil were part of routine large-scale transactions, not a sign of disruption. It also stressed that routine maintenance activities have no impact on overall supply.
Challenging rumour sponsors, the refinery invited buyers to place immediate orders for up to 40 million litres of PMS and 15 million litres of diesel daily for the next 90 days.
Dangote Refinery urged the public to disregard misinformation allegedly driven by those seeking to undermine Nigeria’s energy independence and reintroduce substandard imported fuels.
