Manchester United are reportedly considering reinforcements in attack, with Galatasaray forward Victor Osimhen among five strikers identified as potential targets to provide competition for Benjamin Šeško ahead of the new season.
The club made a significant investment in Šeško last summer, signing the Slovenia international with high expectations. While the 23-year-old had a slow start to life at Old Trafford, he has shown signs of progress under manager Michael Carrick.
United are now believed to be exploring the addition of a more experienced forward to bolster their attacking depth.
According to CaughtOffside, Osimhen is regarded as the club’s preferred option. The Nigeria international enjoyed another impressive season in Turkey, registering 22 goals and eight assists for Galatasaray.
His pace, physicality and consistent goalscoring record have made him one of the most sought-after strikers in Europe, though a potential transfer is expected to be complicated by high demand and valuation.
Alongside Osimhen, United are also monitoring Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta, Juventus forward Dušan Vlahović, Bournemouth youngster Eli Junior Kroupi, and veteran Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski.
