As Muslim faithful across the country prepare for the holy month of Ramadan, Promasidor Nigeria has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim community, wishing them a spiritually rewarding period marked by devotion, reflection and compassion.
The fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company described Ramadan as a sacred season of fasting, prayer and self-discipline that reinforces the values of empathy, generosity and unity. In a statement, the Chief Executive Officer of Promasidor Nigeria, François Gillet, emphasised the importance of adequate nutrition during the fasting period, noting that proper nourishment is essential to maintaining strength and balance throughout the month.

Promasidor also reaffirmed its commitment to national development and food security through strategic investments in local production. It cited its backward integration initiative at the Ikun Dairy Farm in Ikun-Ekiti, Ekiti State, as a key project aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s dairy value chain and promoting sustainable milk production.
Described as the largest dairy farm in the country, the facility houses over 750 high-yielding cattle and provides direct employment for more than 200 people, while generating over 1,000
indirect jobs within its host community.
