Lagos State Governor and Chairman of the South-West Governors Forum, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has arrived in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, to campaign for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its governorship candidate, Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji, ahead of Saturday’s election.

Sanwo-Olu, who serves as Chairman of the Finance and Resource Mobilisation Sub-Committee of the APC National Campaign Council, arrived in Osogbo on Thursday and joined other governors and party leaders at the campaign rally.

Senate President Godswill Akpabio is leading the APC mega rally on behalf of President Bola Tinubu to mobilise support for Oyebamiji.

The rally, taking place at Freedom Park, Osogbo, is also attended by APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda; Chairman of the APC National Campaign Council and Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma; other APC governors; members of the National Assembly; and other party leaders.

The party leaders are expected to use the rally to canvass votes for Oyebamiji ahead of Saturday’s governorship election.
