The Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has congratulated the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, on the occasion of his 84th birthday.
In a statement issued on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Gboyega Akosile, Governor Sanwo-Olu described Pastor Adeboye as a respected global preacher whose decades-long service in God’s kingdom has made him a role model for religious leaders and Christians alike.
The Governor praised the clergyman’s honesty, dedication, and service, noting his tenure as the second National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria and his role in raising millions of committed followers both within and outside RCCG.
“Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye is a true ambassador of God. He has been a blessing not just to RCCG but also to Lagos State and the country,” the Governor said, acknowledging the pastor’s prayers and counsel that have contributed to the state’s development.
Sanwo-Olu further described ‘Daddy GO’ as a globally respected evangelist whose unblemished service has advanced Nigeria’s reputation as a center of spiritual influence. He prayed for God to grant Pastor Adeboye continued grace and strength to positively impact lives through the gospel.
