Sanwo-Olu Nominates Temitope George as LSERC CEO

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has nominated Mrs. Temitope George, Lead Partner/Energy, Infrastructure and Policy Counsel at Adegbola-George & Co, as the Chief Executive Officer of the Lagos State Electricity Regulatory Commission (LSERC).

A memo issued on Tuesday by the Lagos State Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro, stated that George’s appointment is subject to confirmation by the Lagos State House of Assembly. “It is hereby notified for general information that Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has approved the nomination of Mrs. Temitope George for appointment as CEO, LSERC, subject to confirmation by the Lagos State House of Assembly. This appointment will take effect upon confirmation,” the statement read.

Mrs. George brings over 20 years of experience in legal, regulatory, and governance advisory roles, having worked with governments, multinational corporations, and development institutions in the sectors of energy, infrastructure, construction, and Public-Private Partnerships (PPP).

She has a proven track record in structuring large-scale infrastructure projects, securing regulatory approvals, negotiating complex commercial contracts, and ensuring organisational compliance with national and international governance standards.
