Soludo Confident of Landslide Win in Anambra Election

Anambra State Governor and All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has expressed confidence that his party will secure a decisive victory in the ongoing gubernatorial election.

Casting his vote on Saturday at Polling Unit 002, Umuezeadigo Street, Isuofia, Aguata LGA, Soludo described the voting process as “seamless” and assured that APGA is poised to emerge as the frontrunner.

“Let the people just come out and vote, and we are sure that we will win—and win landslide,” he said. “We have opponents, but we have not seen any opposition. However, we are not taking the votes of the people for granted.”

A total of 16 candidates are contesting the election. They include:

The election also features six female deputy governorship candidates, including Appolonia Ezeadili (Accord), Senator Uche Ekwunife (APC), Ebele Okeke (APP), Happiness Ugboma (Boot Party), Veronica Okaro (Labour Party), and Faith Obi (ZLP).
