Temi Otedola and Afrobeats singer Mr Eazi have announced that they are expecting their first child together.
The couple shared the news on Thursday through a joint Instagram post featuring black-and-white maternity photographs and a video from their pregnancy shoot.
Temi accompanied the announcement with a Bible verse from Jeremiah 1:5, writing: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.”
The announcement quickly attracted congratulatory messages from fans and celebrities, including DJ Cuppy, Sharon Ooja, Nancy Isime, Falz, Banky W and Toke Makinwa.
The pregnancy announcement comes less than a year after the couple’s wedding ceremonies in 2025, which included a civil wedding in Monaco, a traditional Yoruba ceremony in Dubai, and a white wedding in Iceland.
Temi, now known as Temi Ajibade, is the daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola and has built a career as an actress, fashion influencer and podcaster.
Mr Eazi, whose real name is Oluwatosin Ajibade, is known for pioneering “Banku music” and is also the founder of emPawa Africa, a platform that supports emerging African artistes.
The pair, who have maintained a relatively private relationship over the years, continue to receive warm wishes from fans and colleagues as they prepare to welcome their first child.
